Ms. C's Bees in Miss/C/Bees
Misibis Bay @ 7AM |
Of Misibis Bay
Misibis Bay is a rewarding paradise after an hour of terrain travel from Legazpi City airport.
I've never been to a hotel and resort this pristine and beautiful so I have no point of comparison with satisfaction. All buffets were sumptuous with their hot and spicy dishes that could only be signatured as real Bicol deal.
Special attention was given to my daughter at all times. She was even given this choco-cream cheese cake from Traevents as a welcome treat:
The staff knows us 1st name basis. I would like to especially commend Ms. Judith, Ms. Alex, Kuya Nicko and Kuya Ed, all of Misibis, for exemplary customer service skills.
Place was great except for the bidet at the Spice Market rightmost restroom that's hyperactive - a mini-squeeze will make water splash all over the place, including your face. :p
Here are some of the picturesque areas we've been to:

Caroline Co
She is Ms. C to Brady Manila. She's servitude exemplified. Seldom will we encounter a site director or someone at the supervisor/managerial position who is the there to serve in little ways: hailing a cab, checking everyone's luggage and comfort. Ms. C is on top of this game. Bago mo pa siya maasikaso, naasikaso ka na niya.

Jon Bautista
Jon is an obra in progress. From doing sales, to order management, events management and now, employee engagement. I am seeing him evolve. Little by little, bit by bit. A toast to employee engagement and polishing potentials!

Jomarie Punzalan
Jomz is the official team photographer. She breathes TEAM. She is joined by partner Gay who helped us direct awesome photo shots. This couple is my daughter's favorite. I am at times harsh with discipline, unmoved by "arte" tears. Jomz reminded me to take things in a stride with my kid.
Avee Mangunay
Avee is the adventurous type. The type who'd definitely go out to toast in the sun and deepdive not just reports but the sea. If there's WFH (Work From Home), Avee can WFM (Work From Misibis). She is joined by brother Aldrin who was chivalrous all throughout the trip. Her brother proved that sometimes, men can be ok to be around with. :)
Sho Komori
Sho is a spring of self-deprecating humor that is so cute. No dull moments with this person. Sho is joined by sweet and cool mom Bernadette.
Violet Marcelo
Fashion and poise personified. Nakakahawa. Gugustuhin mong mag-ayos din, kung may extra time ka :)
Rjell Jarme
KTV, anyone?
Elizabeth Riodique
Kapit-villa. Her assigned villa is just across ours, making her our nearest neighbor. Mommy Beth spent good time with husband but still had time to check on me and my kid every now and then.
Cherry Morados (not in the picture)
My favorite employee engagement partner. The lady who helped cost-save the company so much but was unable to join us because she was sick. Kagandahan, I missed you :(
Of Rewards and Recognition
This school of thought ain't new: that there is no competition with anyone but the self. In working with our current self to be better than its former version, we consequently uplift our teammates and elevate the company from their respective but conjoined states. Sabi nga ni MJ Nauman translated and rephrased, ang sikreto ng tagumpay ay ang maunawaan na ang bagay-bagay ay magkakaugnay.
I learned from this experience that sometimes, you do not plan on giving yourself a vacation. You just do your job silently, with the best intention and motive you can exhort from self and the Lord - who sees all work that you do, even those done outside the realm of figures, ultimately rewards you with vacation beyond your purse, planning and imagination.
Of Gratitude

Needless to say, I am overwhelmed. Thank you for the special "me" and bonding time given to me and my daughter, most of which are too precious and tearfest to be shared in social media.
I am grateful to my teammates:
Joan, Joy, Lance, Lui, Nelly and Luwi of Manila Chat Support for being so independent and ALWAYS topping the team quality charts;
Lyza, Jhudy, Maine, and Mike of Emedco Order Management for excellent response rates for Project Bolt and facing the continuous improvement challenge squarely;
SMEs/CI ladies Lovely, Jara, Jam and Jen for sharing their best practices;
the 24 folks of Order Management North America Team who keep their minds open to changes and leading;
Riza and Ethel for working on my nomination and being patient with all my flaws;
Jannelle for flooring me when I disputed my nomination;
WPS US POCs for vouching for things they thought I am good at;
the Brady panel which decided that I should be recognized for doing well, not in comparison with others but with myself;
our President, Michael J Nauman for inspiring us to do our best in getting through tough times and who believes that everyone in Brady are leaders in their own right;
my family - Lolo Daddy, Lola Mommy, Tayto Mike, Nineng Ibai, TeAgs, Aria, Titul, Pipen, Yen, Yet and Jujui for just being there to fuel me up in their unique and effective ways;
to Brady: you've been my partner in sending my daughter to school. It's been four years straight, smooth-sailing. I love you;
and to Him whom all things are seen, Salamat po. We GenJui'd the trip.
Grateful,
GHc and JHc Brady
